The landing would be just a cherry on top of a cake.

This starship PROTOTYPE TEST already did many things never done before.

This was a 50m tall 9m in diameter vehicle that performed a BELLY FLOP maneuver... it skydived like those flying squirrels. This has never been done before by ANYONE

It used 3 raptor engines at the same time. This was also a first. The raptor engines not only are METHALOX (which is also a first) as they are also the first FULL FLOW rocket engine ever.

One of the engines was alight for 4:40 minutes. Longest time any Raptor engine has ever been ignited.

It made a crater EXACTLY ON TARGET, after doing so much stuff for the fist time.


Really, NOBODY not even SpaceX probably were optimistic SN8 would be able to do it all and hit the target. And yet it did.

It was a SUCCESS for anyone who follows the aerospace industry.
