The robots in an elder care home is dystopia

As somebody who has therapy dogs and visits a nursing home. Replacing the wait staff with robots is disgusting. A lot of those people don't get visitors or company. The only interaction they have is with the staff and the few volunteers that come in. That's so gross.

The reason there is doors in front of the elevator is for the fire. Alarm goes off. They will automatically close by turning off an electrical magnet that is hidden behind the door. The reason it does this is because you are not allowed to use elevators during a fire these are also randomly in the hallway to prevent smoke from spreading and fire from spreading.

Fun fact: i was replacing lights in a school once and it took my boss an hour and a half to find the panel. It was painted over with a huge mural.

Also, never, ever paint over fire alarm equipment. It is so against code that it can be used to stop insurance paying you if you have a fire
