Nothing brings me more joy than Damien stopping for a second to research something from a post and share what he found - I always learn something new from a good Damien video 💕

I love Damien's investigations into these posts. It's a nice lil treat.

5:53 I used an inflation calculator for the Foo Fighters ticker. $13.00 in 1996 is about $26 in 2024

7:59 My best example of Brownian motion is something most of us see on a daily basis. When we pour milk into a tea or coffee and the milk plumes out and you get a cloud effect in your drink.(I just think it's neat)

8:26 the flashing that means the cyro-fluid has vaporized/escaped containment and is displacing the oxygen in the air and any one in that room can suffocate if not moved to a different location.

If the prices kept up with inflation - those tickets would be 25 dollars today.

00:36 Tromso, AKA the place w/ the Northernmost McDonald's, is actually much warmer than you'd expect for an Arctic city. The Gulf Stream, a current system that runs from the Gulf of Mexico to the Arctic Tips of Europe, helps to warm up the climate, keeping most of the coastline water/ice free and it's average temperatures on par with something you'd see in the Northern US. Coldest ever temperature ever recorded in the city itself was -1 F, which I've only witnessed twice out here in NYC.

13:28 Damien, I wouldn’t be surprised if OP took the picture right as the time changed and the clock has an animation every time it does

8:00 it looks like that stick of butter was used to grease a hot pan, and the trees are the result of surface tension pulling melted butter together

2:00 I knew it upon sight... I'm allergic to mosquito bites too. It's one of the most annoying yet safe allergies to have methinks, you spend 6 months relaxed, but once Spring arrives, you're done for until Fall arrives again.

It’s so fun learning stuff with Damien (or watching him learn stuff you already know)
