Valheim - Building - Simple Chicken Coop

Chickens in Valheim. You can get them by hatching eggs that you can buy from Haldor (the trader) after beating Yagluth (the plains boss).
You can then farm eggs from the chickens or just farm the chickens (or both). It's all about the food and what kind you like.

NOTE! This is an older video and this coop is not safe since they added bats to the game - Bats will get inside and kill the chickens! Disable raids or build solid walls!

Nice coop! I know it would be completely useless but I felt a little nervous when I saw the eggs directly on the stone. I will probably put a wooden floor with a rug over it for style points and reduce my anxiety. 😅

fabulous coop, but too much work for me (lazy) lol.... using a troll cave is a quick and easy alternative. can place workbench, campfires, wooden chest, and signs for dividing up the place, and big enough that you don't have to worry about smoke inhalation... nor raids!

any holes in the building will get your chickens killed by bats :(
