I only keep 2 portals at my home base. One is the home portal that i never change. The other is my portal to all other portals with signs on a wall next to it with every single portal name on the map that I can change the portal to. When I play with friends they all have their own portal.
This will be a good idea to have something like this with a column that has all the portal names people can choose from in the middle with my friends play through.

Very nice. I turned my first base into a hub where all my portals are so they don't take up room at my main base and look out of place. One portal at my main base takes me to all the rest of them. My first base is in a really scenic coastal area with a nice oak tree as a center piece. The portals scattered across the meadow and the ocean in the background remind me of something out of Spyro so I like it a lot.

Also pro tip. Put signs up with portal names so you can just switch them instead of having 20 have 4. Plus an emergency one incase you forget to switch one.

The best place for a portal hub is under the elder boss, room for every portal you would ever want and hidden so that it doesn’t need to be a huge tower
