I think it encourages more ride sharing options. Spend about the same as high parking prices but you get chauffeured in addition, less drunk driving 🤷🏾‍♂️

TBH, it'll depend what part of Houston in which said establishments you go to. I 1st went to Christian's Tailgate in Midtown & its 3 bucks to park, if you pay the machine, the catch you have feed the machine change for 2 hours & then pay again. Then I go to the one at White Oak, at the time it took only cards & charged 5 bucks til Midnight most days except Sat. going to Sunday at least til 5AM, sounds good, yeah then the lot changed companies & its 7 bucks for the 1st 2 hours then you have to pay 2 bucks extra for an extra hour

If you know the city, you know how to find free parking in most areas. Downtown and Midtown are free at night. Washington is a little harder and may take you a while, but there is still some free parking on the street. Heights has plenty of places to park for free. Uptown off Westheimer and Richmond are the only places where you're going to pay for parking. I encourage Uber and riding together with friends.

ALso this area they are showing is not safe is known for ppl trashing the streets bar fights n nasty ugly ppl goin there. THE nicest safe clean areas dont look like that in houston n u dont pay to park either. There's plenty of free parking in the nicest areas in houston.
