Dear venerable tridao; I have a question that I really hope you can answer and help me with, I am a very devoted Buddhist, and a straight female, however because I am an actor, I have been auditioning and the role I orginally applied for was taken, instead I was given a gay girl’s role, and I don’t know if it is a sin to portray that because there is never a clear answer as to whether Buddhism is supportive of lgbtq issues. I don’t know what to do, it’s not that I am homophobic but worried it’s not allied in my religion.
