We don’t have to strike if ALL drivers everywhere STOP accepting peanuts. Declining rides is basically like striking. Keep declining until you’re happy with the price. Turn off queued rides. Don’t auto accept anything.

I very rarely get an order that cycles back to me. Usually, there is a bottom feeder even farther away that takes it.

That’s why I am making an app to help drivers

Uber Eats has gotten so bad, they now count everything against the driver. If you call them for anything they cancel the order and ding your cancellation rate. UE eats is finished...

That only works if you live in a very small town.

A $35 trip is usually not real. Another driver stole the food and Uber keeps sending the order to another driver. When I get to the restaurant the workers tell me I am the tenth driver to come for the order.

Been saying for years — the prices will go up if everyone just stops accepting lowball offers!

I never decline but yesterday was only $4-5 dollar trips.

Today same thing.

My acceptance rate went from 90% yesterday down to 84% as of right now. Naaah fam. Iam not taking anymore $5 trips. Get you ahh up and go get it yourself.

If you want anything delivered for five dollars, go pick it up yourself.

Plot Twist: first driver stole the order and the next few drivers showed up and had to cancel, driving up the cost of the delivery. Ive had a $42 order at Red Lobster and had to cancel because they refused to make the order. I was the 6th driver.

YAY! I'm glad this video is here because I have a theory of what I think is actually happening here:

I used to get orders similar to these at 2am (when bars close) when I only did Eats. I thought the same thing, not many drivers, Uber drivers are busy taking bar people home, Uber is desperate to get these orders out on time. Now I do Eats and Rides and at 2am when the bars close in busy area it will be surging. The surge applies to both rides and Eats but I never saw this bar closing surge in app when I was doing Eats only. I think the surge is still there for both Eats and rides, it is just hidden graphicly from Eats only drivers.

I would love for someone to test my theory. If someone has a friend with an Eats only account set it up on a second phone and see while you are doing surge rides. If this proves to be true someone who does Eats only would also be able to monitor surge from a second phone with a ride account so the know where to grab surges. They wouldn't even need to be logged in to the ride account.

What is the point of having my acceptance rate at 90% for 5 dollar deliveries? No! Get your bum up and go get it yourself.

Someone needs to create an app where they can see How many drivers are logged in and their area. On whatever apps they may be working. Then the drivers could set a minimum amount that they would take. For a reasonable amount of miles and stick to that amount. It.
Doesn't seem like it would be that hard.
