dry lips are inevitable as soon as winter hits, and they hit me hard! I was waking up with splits almost everyday, so i got to thinking....epson salt soaks help me exfoliate my feet so well, so why not my lips. it turns out sea salt is also great for wound healing so this is how i got rid of my chapped splitting lips and keep them baby soft.

I wake up with dry lips too. I drink water all day and keep water by the bed a gallon.
I think its not that you aren't drinking enough, its the air is dry. Especially if you have hardwood floors throughout your home.
I keep a large pot of water on my stove that i set to boil then simmer during the day. Then at night i keep a bowl of water and a humidifier in my room and it helps

Dry skin and lips are usually always from an essential fatty acid deficiency. Try to consume more foods high in omega 3 - most people already get plenty of omega 6 . Google foods you may like to incorporate to get enough . Hope this helps someone out there 💜

I’ve never soaked my lips with an eyes mask before but I’ve been applying a super hydrating lip balm, leave it on for 20 minutes then I use a clean washcloth to exfoliate my lips. I’ve been doing this for years and it’s always been the most effective! Thanks for sharing and I’m definitely going to try those saline soaks on my lips now!

Picking lips feels so dang relaxing to me. But sometimes when I peel to the last part, it hurts when it comes off. Especially thick lips, those annoy me, but when I pick them, it goes smooth and not as stiff to smile. It feels so relaxing at least for me
