I was looking for videos on how to use Whisper AI and this video showed up on the side panel. Over time, I've learned to watch your videos first over other suggestions, because you are on the spot and go straight to the point.

Your tutorial not only it saved me a lot of time from setting up the required software environment for python and Whisper, going thru the learning curve, testing, and actually waiting for the process to run thru a 1h+ audio of a meeting, but the final product from Word was excellent and possibly better than the alternative. Plus, now I have a simple procedure that anybody at work can follow, not only IT personnel.

I transcribed the audio of a meeting with 9 speakers and was able to identify each one perfectly, following the steps you showed.

My mobile version won't do the transcribe function. It has dictation and voice to text but not ability to upload mp3 files for transcribing.

Love this tip. I found it helpful for creating and uploading transcript captions for YouTube videos too - the only issue I run across is speaker/audio file length - I think once an audio file is longer than 13-14 min, Word tells me the file is too big to transcribe 😢
