Cheating is not good, however to throw someone else's mom's ashes into the river is not good either and very disrespectful to the dead. Such tactics are unforgivable for the love & bond between someone and their mother is near inseparable, much akin to murdering their mother for something they did.

I agree with you on the cheaters stuff. I mean, small things like exposing the cheater or glitterbombing their stuff is whatever in my opinion. Petty, but no MAJOR damage. But big stuff like throwing out ashes or damaging expensive equipment or etc. Is not acceptable. There is a limit. Besides, why spend your precious time on getting revenge on a scummy cheater when you can just recover and go live your best life?

The 2 worst/most petty things I've done after getting cheated on was

1. Keeping a shirt because I thought it was too cool to give back so I acted like I didn't know what happened to it (we already broke up in this case)

2. Ignored them a little at first despite agreeing to stay with them because I believed they were sorry

I don't understand going beyond that personally. Even yelling at the other person and calling them names probably isn't worth it. Nor is exposing them online. God forbid. I'll tell others in person who ask me but that's it. I don't care about their reputation once I'm out because all that matters is never giving them any reason to feel justified. Silence for the most part works for me best
