Revelation 7:9
“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;”
It has to be literal number because one group, the 144, 000 can be numbered and the other group cannot be numbered, then how can some SDA's say they both are the same group? When the last of the 144, 000 is sealed probation closes.

I always thought when Jesus Christ rose from the dead, the graves of the saints were opened. The 144, 000. I am no scholar, just recalling things I was taught as a child.

In the coming of Christ, two groups of save are present there, one is the remnant or the living saints and the other is the raisen saints. The first group or the remnant are those who had overcome the beast and his image and kept Gods law together with those who ressurected in special ressurrection, those who died under the three angels massage, fromm 1844( daniel 12), they are those who will hear Gods covenant of peace, they are called the living saint.Last day events 271-272. And the other group are those who will be awaken by the voice of Christ, when He say, awake awake...those had died from adam to the last saint will awake, they are un numbered, as many as the sand of the sea .
