Even worse than Ariel, the worst race-swap had to be in Marvel's Thor movie, when they made the Norse God Heimdall black. Think about that one for a minute. The ancient Vikings and Germanic tribes who created those myths had never been to Africa, never seen a black person. So, how could a figure from NORSE mythology be black? It just makes no sense.
