ever started a project with high hopes, only for it to turn into a total disaster?

well, that’s exactly what happened here. i attempted a room transformation using brick wall stickers, vinyl tiles, and fresh white bedding, envisioning a pinterest-worthy aesthetic. but… let’s just say reality had other plans.

in this video, i share the highs, the lows, and everything in between as i tried to create my dream room on a budget. spoiler alert: the brick wall stickers didn’t stick to my vision, the vinyl tiles weren’t as seamless as i thought, and the result? a room makeover fail that i couldn’t help but laugh at.

try a removable peel and stick wallpaper for the walls! Maybe try something with a bit more colour - even more of a beige white instead of a bright white because I think what went wrong is everything being the same bright white colour. but even if you can't get new wallpaper, it can be saved!

try adding more furniture and bits of colour - posters/pictures on the wall, maybe a rug? and color on your bed as well (pillow case or throw blanket). best of luck! right now it looks very plain and empty - like a hospital room. maybe try some plants?

try adding some clutter and more color !! the white is very overbearing, you can add some posters, vines, maybe a rug too ? even just changing the color of the pillows is a great start! it's not completely hopeless, just needs a little more thought.
