I asked my Rheumatologist to test me for Sjrogen’s and test came back negative, so he told me I don’t have it! This is the same Doctor that has diagnosed me with SLE and my ANA is negative.

I had my first bout of Sjogren's when I was in second grade (8 years old) - I was put out of school because I could not concentrate or remember anything. I had my second bout when I was a sophomore in high school (sixteen years old) and I had to drop out of school and get a GED. I had my third bout when I was 24 years old and serving in the military - unable to concentrate, dry eyes, blurry vision, skin rash, joint pain - I had to get out of the military. I had my fourth bout when I was 32 - joint pain, dry eyes, dry mouth (some of my teeth died), blurry vision, peripheral neuropathy, extreme fatigue, memory issues. 5th at 40, 6th at 48, and now I'm going through my 7th bout, and am no longer able to work. I also just received an official diagnosis of Sjogren's, so now I know what has been happening all of these years. Each bout lasts 12-18 months.
