2024 Dodge Hornet R/T Plus Blacktop eAWD POV Review | It's an Italian Hybrid For $53,000

👋 Take a look at the top of the line Dodge Hornet! This 2024 Hornet R/T Plus features a hybrid system paired to the turbocharged 4 cylinder engine. It also features an AWD system and can drive in pure electric mode! The Hornet R/T Plus Hybrid costs about $53,000 which is certainly not cheap. However it drives very refined and is a comfortable place to be. The Alfa Romeo Tonale is nearly the identical car to this and this is even built in Italy. So the Hornet has the European refinement level you may not think it would. Power levels are ok, it can get up to speed and merge with traffic well, however I wouldn't mid a bit more power for the price tag. Front seats have good space but I did feel a bit too tall for it. If you are close to 6ft you might feel a bit cramped. Same with the back seats. They were fin, but on the small side for sure. But if you want a nice to drive hybrid crossover with a bit of Italian flare, the 2024 Hornet R/T Plus is a cool option if you can justify the price tag. Nice styling overall especially in the Blue Bayou color with the red leather interior!
