This is Basically an Alfa Romeo Tonale with Dodge badges on it.

The Hornet is perhaps the most abundant car on Dealers lots as we speak. I don't hold out much hope for its longevity.

Waiting for these to be advertised at $199/month no money down lease deal 😂

Genuinely this vehicle is totally fine. Its quite nice, i think the only issue is simply the price. If they targeted the audience that usually buys dodge they would have def seen less criticism

Normally I would say that I can’t figure out what Dodge was thinking when they built this but it’s obvious that this was not Dodge doing this one.

Stellantis just like FCA is still trying to push their European cars off on Americans. What they don’t seem to understand is Americans are not small people. If you want to sell a “dodge buyer” a car it Hass to be big, huge and fucking fast. You’re not going to get them to buy re-badged Alfa Romeos.

When I saw this car at the car show, I couldn’t even sit in it because it was too damn small.

Yesterday, I was on the road behind a black Dodge hornet RT, and when I pulled up to see who is driving it, it was a woman. I honestly couldn’t figure out for the life of me how they could con somebody into buying one of these things. Is really nothing about it redeeming. It’s way too expensive for what it is.

I think this is basically a dodge dart/Charger turned into an suv

Can you look at the '09 Ford F-150?

Armchair quarterback here:
It’s nice looking for a small CUV - but I think it won’t sell well simply because it’s a Dodge - dodge doesn’t sell anything well unless it’s got a V8. Dodge should leave the SUV market to Jeep and focus on something more interesting… like a V8 family sized wagon (bring back the magnum?) or with a hybrid straight 6 powertrain.
I think there’s a growing group of younger people looking for a land yacht level of comfort from their driving experience rather than a jarring “sporty” driving car. They might do well to buy into the Toyota hybrid powertrain for their hybrids so they can dispel reliability concerns.
I understand there’s a lot of complexity to these types of decisions, but it’s fun to daydream.
I hope Dodge can survive now that they’re phasing out V8’s.

$52k is a bit much for a compact suv, in my opinion

Take away the price and potential reliability issues, its not a bad car. However, this is reality and the reality is that a 42k-45k base price is too much for this car. Maybe 25k base price.

It kinda looks like the Dodge charger in CUV form

The car doesn’t have bi functional projector led headlights. They are multi reflector led headlights.

Fun fact: Alfa Romeo and Dodge are all owned by Stellantis

I have been watching Kyle for a pretty long time now. Love all of his content. I even visit his area a few times each year! Hoping I accidentally run into him at some point when I’m visiting!

Może następny test jazdy elektrycznym Fiatem 600? W Polsce już zaczęto tego modelu oferować w salonach

I still don’t know who this car is for but I hope the charger turns out to be a great product, the ICE version anyway
