The Squat Twist is a great mobility movement to loosen up the middle and lower back. Start by standing at attention and aligning the feet and knees. Tick the tailbone and stand tall. Next, sit back into the heels and lower into a squat. Twist opposite elbow to knee. Maintain alignment - side by side - at the knees and ankles. Begin to rotate the chest toward the sky. Work both sides. Breathe into the movement. Twist a little bit deeper with each exhale.
