I used to say happy wife, happy life but being married 12 years I realized that it’s not all about one spouses happiness. We can neglect the other spouses happiness if we are not careful. Marriage is hard work but when we do it Gods way it’s such a huge blessing. We are not responsible for someone’s true happiness but we definitely play a huge part as husbands & wives. When God is truly in the middle of your marriage and BOTH spouses feel seen, heard and soothed that’s when true joy from our Father comes in because we are serving each other and not just ourselves!
