Appreciate you being so transparent and providing real-life examples that we're able to understand. I have a CCDP, CCNP Security, and CCNP R&S (old school) that ironically need to be renewed within about 3 weeks. The CCIE was a grind, 2 lab failures, but you seem to know what perseverance is required in spite of all obstacles, so definitely know that you can do it and whatever you put your mind to. Keep doing your thing and wishing you continued success.

Part of this is why I never do practice questions… the test questions are copyrighted and it’s illegal to have them outside the exam… this means there is a near 100% chance that if it’s on the practice test, it is not on the exam. Practice tests are great for real life, but they prepare you for anything not on the test

There is no OCG for Service Provider. The CCNP SCOR you need to get the elearning digital course. Same with Data Center. Folks are starting to get their Comptia certs and AWS certs now. I’m noticing that. Network plus had everything I need for the test.

Totally agree! I'm studying for the ENAUTO and there is no OCG or anything you can follow from Cisco, unless you spend $750 on their official e-learning course, which you only have access to for 180 days. Some people might say you can use the free DevNet learning labs, but those are way too basic to be able to prepare you for the exam.

I think it's a cash grab, but i really think they are expecting schools and businesses and the govt to pay your way, not just yourself out of pocket.

One thing I have been told time and time again. The Cisco press books are not officially published by Cisco. Which is why they do not cover everything on the test.

Hey man great video and appreciate you sharing your experiences 👌. Why strictly go down the Cisco path. Many people don't pursue another Cisco cert after the CCNA. After the CCNA, many people get a Linux cert then a cloud a few cloud certs. Why put in double the time and effort pursuing Cisco certs when you can follow the Linux/cloud path and still get paid the same?
