Wyze Cam Won't Scan QR Code: How To Fix

After a couple hours of frustration, I finally figured out why my Wyze camera wouldn't scan the QR code. The very bottom of the QR Code was not showing on my iphone screen. It's because I had my iphone display settings adjusted so it is easier to read things on my phone. I had set my phone to have an enlarged text size, Bold Text was turned on, and Display Zoom was set to "Larger Text". After I turned all these setting back to default, the entire QR code was now visible on the screen in the Wyze app and my phone scanned it with no problems. I am now connected. Hopefully this helps someone else out there. Good luck

I was trying to make it work for about an hour, and then I found your video and was able to connect my camera in a couple of minutes. I ended up printing out the QR code and the camera recognized it very quickly. It was not working trying to read it off of my phone.

The QR code is the worst features of this cameras they should really find other ways to register the camera once and not multiple times after resetting…. I

Make your to select the right Camera type from the setup menu.. the thumbnail could be wrong, I was using v3 when it needed to be OG. for the OG it connects via bluettoth wayy better

I did all of those steps before I started "googling". Nothing is working, new out of the package (Black Fri deal). I have 4 camera's already, so I know how it's supposed to go. Anything else that I might be missing??

My phone won’t show the full QR code. Any ideas?

I use to have an option to choose a 2.4 or 5 mghz wifi connection but I don’t anymore and I’ve tried everything and can’t get it to connect. I was hoping you’d show like a way to manually input a code or something, but all this is just basic common sense. 😞 thanks though.
