Galaxy Note 8 Review - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Smartphone after 72 hours (BASED ON PRE RELEASE DATE SOFTWARE). So far the Galaxy Note 8 has one of the Best Smartphone Cameras, display and speed. It is let down by battery life and sound quality. Bear in mind that the phone is running pre-release software and that things can change - A full review will follow at a later date when final software comes out.

Your battery analysis is wrong. I manufactured lithium batteries. Over the first 6 months of a lithium batteries life, it improves with each charge and discharge so your S8 battery now will last longer than it did when new. It takes about 1.5 to 2 years (depending on usage) for a battery to start losing its power. In 4 months the Note8 battery will perform better than now. Of course it is 200mah less powerful. Does anyone know what difference 200mah makes? In real use it equates to 1.2 hours of battery life over a 24 hour period. I think that technology reviewers should make an effort to learn more about how the technology works in the devices they review before saying something stupid.
