As a Russian military officer. l'm using galaxy note 8 for some military jobs. I can tell u that this is the best phone I've ever used. It's very useful for my job.

I got this beast back in 2017, this was the best Samsung phone I ever used I came from a galaxy S6 Edge+ I used it from 2015 to 2017, the specs in 2020 for the note 8 are still pretty strong if you just use it for texting, social media, phone calls etc 6 GB of RAM wasn't really mainstream back in 2017, but now in 2020 mid-range phones have that as standard, they should have added more RAM this would have performed better with 8GB I'm currently using an s10 and plan on getting the S20 Ultra, I came back to this video because I found my note 8 in a drawer and it brought back some memories. I didn't even update the OS, It's still on Android nougat xD

January 2019... the Note 8 is on sale for 444€ here in Germany. I wanted to get a OnePlus 6T but... yeah... how can I not pick a Note 8 at that price point after having seen all those positive reviews.

I just replaced the battery on my note 8 got it in 2017 when it just came out for 1000 euro and after so many years it still holds up only problem was the battery after using it formore than 5 years XD.

Watching this video in 2019 on my note 8 😁😁 whose I just upgraded the OS to android 8, And It's still working smooth. Something like the note10 looks modern, however I do not find any important reasons to change my phone.

The iPhone X has Fast charging, but as you've said before you have to pay extra 84 dollars (approx.) to get it
I live in Saudi Arabia, and the iPhone X was just announced in one of the well-known retailers and it will cost 1173 dollars.
Add to that the 84 dollars that i will have to pay to get the USB-C adapter and the fast charger then I will pay a total of 1257 dollars.

On the other hand, the Note 8 will actually be cheaper here in Saudi Arabia. The same mentioned-above retailer will sell the Note 8 for 906 dollars. Plus, I wont be paying extra cash to get the fast charging as it will be packed in the box. Moreover, the phone wilkl be shipped with free 128gb SD card and free Note 8 care for accidental repairs (applecare+ for the iPhone X now costs 200 dollars)

SO yeah, I am saving 350 dollars + I am getting a prestigious stylus, free 128GB SD card, and Note 8 care .. And am still getting the greatest Samsung has to offer

S pen not the only unique feature here, but what makes Samsung's note 8 a good buy is an all around capability like; phenomenal camera, highest quality display, fast and consistent performance and the ground breaking technology !

There are so many clueless people complaining Note 8 is not much more than S8+ with stylus. They just don't understand that S-pen is not just a stylus. It's a Wacom powered 4k pressure sensitive digitizer. It's like saying Porsche 911 is nothing more than faster Corolla. S-pen can do things that $2000 Wacom tablets do. Sure you can jot down notes but you can also do professional sketching and painting. Check out these videos.

Random question....who puts their phone in their back pocket?
I have had so many friends crack their screens because they forget about their phone and then sit on it....on an all glass design there is no reason to put it in your back pocket.
