I also used to hate macaroni salad because my family made it with fruits (IT WAS DISGUSTING) but then I went to a church and they made it with veggies I was sceptical but I tried it anddd..IT WAS SO GOOD I thanked the people working there :)

It's the one recipe of my grandma's that I wish I had! It wasn't ever my favourite but her macaroni salad was so good. The Butcher's Son in Berkeley makes theirs very similar to hers but it's not cheap.

My mom makes them with mayo, herbs, diced peppers but the peppers need to be burnt on a stove or in the oven first and she also adds thinly sliced pickles

Yummy!! I tried to make the Hawaiian kind...but it was just with mayo, stevia and carrots...but it was pretty good!

My recommendation in case ya want something a little more light I’d recommend extremely thinly and small carrots 👌
