Hm, interesting! In German we only say "noodle salad". We wouldn't say maccharoni salad or spaghetti salad or penne salad or orecchiette salad. We wouldn't use the specific kind of noodle in the name although it wouldn't technically be wrong. We just don't do it. I wonder why. 🧐🤨🤔🤷

I'll admit...typical Hawaiian mac salad in a plate lunch often has too much mayo. This looks great. When I saw the color, I was thinking curry and not mustard. A curry mac salad would maybe work also?
