On our 9u team we use all 3 methods of cover 3. Me and two of our coachs have collegiate experience. Our head coach was one of the best recievers to ever play at U of L.

This is my main D on Madden and man blitz / man 2 high but I set the pass coverage to under most of the time in cover 3

If a team is running where the linebackers both cover the vertical route could ypu beat the zone by running one inside receiver on a streak and the other side on a drag. Streak defender will vacate and drag defender will be easy open.

I never play single high cover three, always with 2 high so its not as obvious and i can sneak down with the safety

Maddens 3Match is absolute trash. Maybe its too complicated for Madden to replicate but heres the bottom line. If the Hook Defender is gonna take the RB when he is fast to the flat you may as well just play Cover 1 and call it a day

Match rules change. Its played differently when the RB is fast to the flat than it does when the RB stays in to block, check releases, or is in or out between the tackles.

Then a little more changes for the Overhang defender when #2 is vertical in conjunction with the RB fast to the flat

I will never turn down the opportunity to point out how 3 Match is rubbish in Madden
