This is just pathetic I had a RSX Type-S 2003 with 200hp! Almost 20 years ago! And they are bragging about this 6500 redline. I'm going to miss the high revving engines up to 8000. The whole reason why the 1999 Civic SI was so popular

Best SI ever? Since the 8th gen they have all been terrible. These cars rev to 6500rpm what's next generations gonna rev to? 5000rpm? LMAO Just make it rev to 8000rpm and take 100lbs out of it=Sold out at every dealer.

I mean it’s cool, but why would I pay almost 30k for a car with 200hp? I could get a Jetta GLI for 26k, comes with 28 more horsepower and 258 ft/lbs of torque

This is still one of the most disappointing releases Honda has done. Interior looks great and the auto-rev matching is great... that's about it. The only big difference with the power train is the tune? Really? I can go get that same tune for less than $100 on my 10th gen SI....
