Andy is my favorite artist, and really my favorite musician in any genre because his lyrics speak to my soul as if God had woven some common thread through his children upon which AP's songs work to remind us of our Father's great love. This song is beautiful, like dozens of other songs Andy has written that break my heart and remind me that my rough edges can be continually worn down by reminders of the truth. There is hope in God's great love for us, and how He surrounds us with people who know Him, too. The ways we move through this world together reflect so much of God's goodness and glory. Healthy, Christ-centered marriages are so rare, at least from what I've seen. This song's celebration of those unions and their beauty is a breath of fresh air.
