I love how Goku's attacks become less and less effective as their fight goes on. It's really cool to see how superior Goku is at fighting compared to Broly but the difference in their power is too great for it to matter.

This has to be one of the best fights in all of dbz, The steady escalation, the talking is short and doesnt distract from the action (very unlike DBZ where the cut to krillin gohan or piccolo breaking down it for us) the camera angels the way the music goes along with the fight, Broly's overwhelming brawling style of figthing vs Goku's measured professional calm. As far as i can tell Goku doesnt take any real hits here at all, (a sign of the experience Goku has over Broly) while he hits Broly what 3-4 times? And each time it deals less until finally Broly doesnt even flinch taking a hit right to his jaw

2:56 I always thought this was the most badass shot in all of dbz. Vic Mignogna was perfect. The music was perfect. As a Kid i would see him laughing and powering up like that and think “I don’t think Goku is gonna win”
