I have realized that not all doctors know how to read studies and research. Pretty much every dermatologist i watched said this is the way and Michelle is the first to say otherwise

And just like regular people needs a dermatologist to know their skin condition, a dermatologist needs a chemist to know more about the skin care ingredients, just like a doctor sometimes will need a pharmacist to remind them of the dosage and how to use a medicine

Misinformation from influencers is a problem but even more so from doctors and scientists!

doctors, dermatologists, etc. aren’t necessarily trained to analyze research studies. that’s why it can be risky when they use their title to gain trust when interpreting studies, even though this isn’t part of their expertise. it can lead to them misunderstanding and spreading false information

Glad you said that at the end. I'm not a professional in either of these fields, but have used medicated and regular shampoo professionals. Medicated shampoos have instructions that will say how long to leave it on. Any other shampoo will typically say to lather and work through as normal, rinse and potentially rewash if needed. And depending on the hair and scalp, rewashing can be incredibly effective. Just read the instructions.
