I'm 21 years old, but this video got me feeling like i'm 9 watching PBS kids all over again, responding to the little questions that I'm not even being personally asked. What a happy little corner of my own brain I didn't know I still had!! 💖💖💖

This video feels like a 90s kids show, from the narration right down to the musical effects, amazing!

the simple, accessible script, the slow and soothing candor, the piano interspersed between phrases... this feels like something out of Sesame Street or Mr. Roger's Neighborhood and i absolutely love it

Not all crustaceans have 10 legs, only members of the order Decapoda have 10 legs. Pill pugs belong instead to the order Isopoda, which is in the same class as Decapoda, called Malacostraca.

I knew that dragonflies and damselflies aren't the same... But what's the case with the extinct griffinflies? As far as I know, they're closely related to dragonflies, but what are the key differences in their groups?

this was a wonderful video before bed, the music, enunciation, and delivery took me back to those cherished days of watching my hero, Mr. Rodgers. I sincerely hope you'll make more videos like this, as I know when my nephew gets a little older, he will love this.

Everyone I knew growing up called them potato bugs. I thought it was totally normal until recently.
I've lived in a lot of different areas around the PNW too.

Very Mr Roger’s neighborhood. I love the piano mixed with calm but interesting facts. Nailed it😊

I like the format and great quality of this channel. I'd be happy for my kids to watch this if I had any. Otherwise, I watched for the Pill bug. And was very interested to learn they are actually land crustaceans! And that there are land crustaceans! I've always been struck by how similar sea crustaceans are to many bugs (vice versa). And including arachnids. I've always thought crabs and spiders are fairly similar, mostly in their form and scuttling manner. I was surprised though to also learn that spiders have "book lungs", which as far as I understand are a lot like the "book gills" of crabs.
