I fucking hope not! I'm tired of spider man's villain being related to stark in some way. First the Vulture is a damage control worker laid off by stark, Then Mysterio is an inventor who was humiliated by stark and fired. If they somehow tie the entire sinister six to stark in some way I am going to get angry.

I actually like this I don’t see what the big deal is like we see in the trailer and a couple still images that his arms look like how it did in Spider-Man 2. Like I’m sure he’s gonna destroy the iron spider suit and ock will combine his nano tech with his arms I think that’s awsome like If doc ock was ACTUALLY connected to Ironman than I see what the rage is but he has NO connections to stark at all and is just stealing the iron spider tech

To add on to your points about repulsor beams, maybe he can form a mask as well with the nanotech. Maybe call himself iron octopus. Maybe even find a new redhead wife called saltina sugarpott. Maybe she can run Ock industries in time for him to use all 4 mechanical arms to snap simultaneously with arc reactor based infinity stones to kill Galactus in Avengers 6: Suit of armour
