Thing is Saban cares too much about College Football and the players. And he sees these NIL deals ruining college athletics in general and it being a pay for play type of game. And it no longer being a level playing field. But it's never been a level playing field and most college athletics are going to be lost because of ALL THE MONEY GOING TO FOOTBALL. People need to realize these colleges are public institutions AND NOT GREEDY EXECUTIVES. If coach didn't care & love it wouldn't matter to him. He's rich & can retire no problem. But fact is he does care!!!

Every year is free agency and everyone is on a one year deal.. it’s going to be good for the top 20% of players but the other 80% need to stay put and get a free education. Such a small percentage will go pro.. I’m all for college players being able to have sponsor deals and getting paid to do signings but it can turn sour real quick for the hoppers.

NCAA has fought paying athletes and been in denial all the way to the very end. Where was Nick 5 years ago when the writing was on the wall and the NCAA could have got out ahead of this and built an actual system instead of this hap hazard free for all we have now?

Their scholarship should be their contract. Gotta make the money they get paid, the same across all players and all sports. If they don’t like it, no one is forcing them to play football or go to college. They need to do something bc right now CFB is not the same as it used to be for the fans. Once again the liberal types have ruined something that used to be special.
