I'm sure he does check into how they're doing from time to time. But Nick Saban is a teacher, mentor, and a legendary coach. He can sit and watch them, but would rather produce more NFL superstars and maximize their potential.

I would love too see Saban coach a NFL team I bet he would do good, just for 2-4 years and then retire for good. In the NFL is you dont gotta worry about recruiting and developing that much as the NCAAF he can focus on scheming and coaching. Lets say he gets the Chargers, Falcons or Seahawks, teams with potential with a mix of good vets and exciting young players he can work with. My pick would be the Chargers, Saban with J Herbo and those weapons, on the Defense Khalil Mack, Joey Bosa and Derwin James + a Top 6 Pick he could make some noise in those 2-4 years and if he wins a Super Bowl he would be a Top 3 Coach All-Time no debate.
