Has there ever been a solution for what configuration of matter/energy would allow for the Alcubierre warp drive to initialize this bubble? Or have any solutions been proposed for how to make the bubble itself move through space at superluminal but non-infinite speed? And when the bubble reaches its destination, how can the bubble dissolve such that the spacetime inside and outside of it are free to mingle once more?
