Messed up the most critical first step. Sono tube and get rid of the square top ro the footing.

Concrete needs to be straight up and down on the sides if in a area that freezes, the square top will bust if ground freezes. If it doesnt bust the hole concrete footer will frost heave.

I like to just start with a bunch of cribbing (scraps of 4x4, 2x4, 2x6, etc.) laid on the ground and keep building it up till it's at the height I want it.

I don’t know if I love or hate yer square-on-hole.
It looks like it would pass inspection easier if you miss dug but it also defeats the purpose of loading the post correctly over the footer if you miss measured.
Does this pass code where you are?

How NOT to build a footer! That extra square on top will catch the freeze/thaw and heave the whole footer out of the ground. Just keep it in a sonotube and do it right!

That concrete definitely looks like it's more than a 4" slump. Are you running super plasticizers?

I'd rather just level out the land and then add deck blocks for the foundation.

How come posts aren’t centered on the footers?

Real question: Are you or are you not suppose to attach that back rim joist to the home or structure? I've seen it done both ways, but I thought it was best not to?
