There is so much noise and misinformation on YouTube, half-baked, and downright dangerous "expert" advice on deck building techniques. Shannon's is the real deal. Of course, you will have to supplement with other videos to adapt to your own deck building situation, but these 3 videos from Shannon have all the core knowledge you need to DIY, even if you are a complete novice like I was.
