179 hp but it is a nice car, responds well to mods since it was pretty restrictive stock, for example, a cold air intake on a Type R would probably not do much since Honda’s stock intake is pretty free flowing, but adding a cold air intake to the tC makes a noticeable difference, love my tC

Just bought one from my sister, she was about to sell it to a scrap yard cause it had a bad water pump. I said hell nah, I'm getting that. It's already fixed. Replaced pump, belt, pcv valve and valve cover gasket. Running like a champ.

I got one and they are fun asf
It's my daily hasn't had many problems other then suspension but I bought it used and I think the previous owner abused it.
It has 200k kilometers on it and doesn't burn any oil and runs perfect

I fell in love with this car as soon as I saw it in a used car dealership, coupe, moonroof😭 5 seater, hatch back for road-trips, it was all meet accident. I needed up getting a 2014 week or so after. it’s beautiful

An excellent choice for someone who just needs a vehicle to get from Point A to Point B. My 2015 tC has 83, 000 miles on it now and runs well. It would probably sell for 10-12K.

I have an 07 tC. Great car, was passed around in my family as a first car for my brother and I. Nearing on 195k miles. Unfortunately that year Scion engines produced in the US had piston ring issues which caused excessive oil leakage. I’ve had to put another quart of oil about every 100 miles.

Just yesterday I got a Scion tC 2011. My second car and maybe my dream car. Scions are great, just treat them good and they’ll last.

I had an 07 automatic until it got totaled last year. Was pretty decent for what it was, handled pretty decent and had tons of space in the back especially with the seats down, but engine was burning oil pretty bad. Toyota actually did a free engine rebuild for me in ~2017 under a repair program but it started to burn oil again a couple years later and was starting to have a bunch of small issues. Didn’t help I was the third owner and the previous one didn’t take care of it very well.

I know the Scion TC gets a lot of flame for essentially being a factory-riced Camry, but honestly I dig the Scion TC and agree that it’s underrated and over-hated

These engines can take up to 350 hp with stock internals. You put some aftermarket internals with a good ass tune, shot of Nos, a nice turbo and she can take 900 hp like nothing. 1000 hp with e85. I have one hahah
