I love seeing love for the Galant anywhere. I daily an Eclipse GTS motor/manual trans swapped 3rd gen Galant. Intake, 93 tune and exhaust and that alone makes her a sleeper everybody’s sleeps on it.

MX-3 was my first car <3

Sadly, 1.6, cause it was economical, rust ate it like a hot pocket and AC wasn't working, but it was black and I loved it with my full heart.

The Skyline GTS-4 is also an import option. 4 wheel drive. 2.5l engine (NA). Just slap a turbo on it and it's 98% GTR for 40% the cost. And you get to choose your turbo (more modern and tailored to your motorsport!).

On the MX3 you can drop in the bigger “KL” 2.5 V6 from the Probe GT/MX6/626/Millenia . And throw it on boost for a sweet 300whp on stock block safely

Mazda3/6 MPS. Still think the 3000gt is super underrated. Love the galant vr4 mention, and not a Toyota fan but celica gt4
