Ben Shapiro is wrong on one thing, none of the guns used in any of those shootings were assault rifles. An assault rifle has select fire automatic capability. All of the guns used were civilian semi-automatic rifles.

We throw around the terms "assault weapons" and "assault rifles" based on cosmetics, not on how they actually function.

Ben can be abrasive... and usually correct. I wouldn't want to debate him. Plus I agree with him. I disagree with the idea that the government has the right to disarm me.

Watching the war in Ukraine has shown me the importance of being able to protect yourself and family. Seeing the Ukrainian government handing out AR-15’s to the citizens was a great testament to gun ownership. An invasion can happen fast and you can’t count on getting a weapon in time from your government. The second amendment is one of the many things that makes America truly free.

What's cool is Pierce has recently been on Ben's Sunday Special and they had a great conversation. They are respectful now and in all fairness Pierce has finally awoken to how crazy the left has gotten

The funny part about this is that, apparently, Piers had a Sandy Hook survivor waiting back stage waiting to spring him on Ben, but once Ben called him out for doing just this thing to people he was stuck. Bringing the kid out would only prove Ben's point about him using these kids to sensationalize a topic rather than examine the facts.

Piers acted like a bully. He literally had a guy in a wheelchair in the back, who had been shot, to wheel out to confront Ben during that show. To show how Ben has no heart. That’s why he came out that way. Hence why Piers never did it.

I have 17 guns and take them to a local outdoor range several times a month and, as most crazy people do, I enjoy the sport/challenge of accuracy by learning to control every beat of your heart.
Even more insanely believe in more stringent background checks and an enforced weapon safety course as well as a mandatory range target and control score. It's also nice to know if my family is ever in danger we can all hold it down as last resort.

Its like saying 4 people were hit by trucks last year. While 4 million were hit by cars.

So we are banning trucks but not cars because of those 4 incidents, while ignoring 99.9999% of the incidents.

There is another interview where he explains that Morgan was going to bring out a wounded kid and have Ben explain to him about why the US supports gun rights. Thats why he came at him so hard with his 'standing on the graves of children' opening

it's about protecting your family from criminals but most importantly especially on the Constitution tyranny of the government so that the government never gets too much power if you have no weapons you have nothing to fight back with
