Don't forget to ask Silverman if she even knows what she's talking about make her describe each gun.... THAT will screw her up. 😂😂😂

Exactly thank you Liz & Ben for summarizing the hypocrisy pretty well here on gun control. First, Obama divided the nation on how to view the police force especially with their treatment towards the African American community. Second, the gun-control advocates actually defend the police force when it comes to that they should have every right to confiscate guns and then uphold the law more and more if guns are confiscated. In summary,  the gun-control advocates who also at the same time don't really like how the police do things are then comfortable with that same police force going to people's houses to confiscate their guns and then having to do more because less people will be able to defend themselves!

its the language. if they wanted to try and ban the bump stock or ARs it would state in whatever proposed bill "bump stock" or "AR." instead, its "any device that increases rate of fire" and "any centerfire rifle with xyz features." its a blanket legislation that goes beyond 2 items in question.

I propose replacing the term "gun control" with "firearms prohibition". It's a more accurate term.

The idea of banning guns has never been about public safety. We are all smart enough to see. So Ben, it's time you use your voice to call out the 'left' on the true purpose of their anti-2nd agenda because it is quite sinister.

Why should America have 400 million guns when that number outnumbers the countries population? Not arguing just curious

When the firearms ban was put into force here in the UK it was in the wake of a massacre and people were shocked that the guy had a type-56 semi-auto rifle.

That was the main focus for the media and politicians.

But the shooter killed almost all the people with the Beretta handgun he was carrying. Strangely, that didn't factor into the coverage. It was easier to sell the ban to the public by showing a scary rifle.

Interestingly there are shifts in criminal behaviour when guns stop being a thing... For example hot prowl burglaries happen _far_ more frequently in the UK than in the US. Hot burglaries are when the occupants are home when the burglary occurs. (Home invasion.)

They are more frequent obviously because the burglar knows nobody inside has a gun. But in the US, just the notion that any household _could_ have guns is enough to make hot burglaries an unappealing prospect for a criminal and they are far, far less likely to take the risk.

It's the difference between the Oscars and schools. One is a much more appealing target... if the virtue signalling celebrities were to hold the next Oscars in a gun-free zone, and _everybody_ knew it was a gun-free zone... how much more likely is it to be targeted?
