Small bills are good, but if the economy fails, they won't be worth much. Stock up on popular barter items like: drinking alcohol in smaller bottles, tampons and pads, aspirin, Tylenol, etc., socks, gloves, knit hats, salt, honey, lighters and even toilet paper.

Get smaller bills. Someplace might not have any change to hand back! It wouldn’t make sense to pay 5.00 for a gal of milk and pay 100.00 cause they didn’t have any change to hand back to you!

You wont need a Ham radio license in the event of a disaster. Use it to gain intel on how widespread the disaster is and what federal or state or local authorities are saying.

I would inclue fishing equipment. A rod & reel. You will probably be near water so you can catch fish. Also a good k, ife to clean yourfish.

Start gardening now, not when you run out of food. Stock as many heirloom, non gmo microgreen seeds along with normal garden heirloom seeds too. Many more seeds for the buck. Learn to grow microgreens in window sill. Learn to sprout lentils, peas, beans and sprout the microgreen seeds. I have sprouted store bought beans and lentils also. If you have your own property, plant Jerusalem artichokes around the perimeters. Plant a moringa tree or two. Plant some amaranth plants. All three are great survival foods.

Several rechargeable batteries with the charger hooked to solar can prevent heartaches. But for the children, i have those solar yard stakes. They charge easy safety for the children, and if you need to put the light out quickly, just throw it into your sleeping bag or pouch. Extra propane tanks for cooking and heat with buddy heaters and camp stoves. If you can afford the larger tanks for your grill try to have several put back. And the connection hose that a stepdown hookup for you heaters and camp stoves.
