Someone did this on a trail by my house when I was younger. My older brother & I were riding my go cart at full speed down the trail when we hit the wire. It went right over my head, but caught my brother in the mouth & ripped him out of the go cart while I continued going down the trial by myself with no driver. My brother had a huge hole on his cheek where the single strand of barbed wire caught him. It was scary af & we still never found out who did it or why, but there is some evil MFER’s out that want to hurt kids & people in general, so always be careful.

My friend's dad has a story like this, him and his buddies were drunk driving their snowmobiles back to their house from the bar during winter and were taking a back trail they never took before, he was first and way up the trail and had this sudden awakening type feeling where he just knew he needed to stop, so he did and they all came up finding him walking around the trail checking it out, and he found two sets of razor wire tied to trees, stretching across the trail, one chest level (if they were sitting on their snowmobiles it would've been their heads) and one really low to the trail under the snow.
He says to this day with how he was and how fast he was going, if he didn't suddenly stop he probably would've gotten his head cut off.

I'm from Pennsylvania and back when I was a kid in the 70s a teen was decapitated by the Same thing. Even sadder yet is his 10 year old brother was sitting on the bike behind him and got thrown off with the gore.

My brothers step father went dirt bike riding with his friend when he was younger and ran into one of these, says he watched as his friend was decapitated instantly. His last words were “yahoo!”

There was this man who didn’t see it and got his voice removed by it, it’s really upsetting that people hurt each other for no reason

I was on a snowmobile in upper Wisconsin. Some farmer put a cable wire across to trees and I hit the cable wire at about 45mph. Lucky I hit the cable across my chest or I wouldn’t be talking about it today. The police showed up and the followed the shoe prints right to the farmers door. My snowmobile keep going till it his the side of a barn. Put a huge hole through the side wall. We had to cut it out of the barn. The farmer was arrested. I didn’t have to go to court. The farmer copped a plea. For attempted murder. He got 10 years in prison 10 years of probation and had to pay into some victim fund program. 8 years later I received a check for the damages to my snowmobile. That surprised me. I forgot about the whole thing for years.

A kid in my town was going out snowmobiling with his dad one winter and the same thing happened to him. He wasnt so lucky. Stay safe out there, guys.

Something similar happened to me, I'd go through the dry canal to get to the river on my quad and some 70 year old man dug a 12 foot pit. Tried to get there at night and knocked myself unconscious 😂
