Roland SPD-SX - How To Quickly Add Sounds

A quick tutorial showing you how to add sounds to your SPD-SX.
Steps:

00:00 - Connect SPD-SX to your computer.
01:23 - Drag in 16 Bit wav samples
03:28 - Convert 24-Bit WAV to 16-Bit WAV files
06:37 - Exit SPD-SX Wave Manager and Disconnect USB
07:00 - Play to your heart's content.

Jon, this was awesome; thanks for all your recommendations. I am using samples from the That Sound "Holiday" library for our Christmas Eve service tomorrow and this was invaluable! I experienced conversion challenges when I owned the Alesis Sample Pad Pro also; SPD-SX is a much better device nav and performance wise!

my SPD doesn't say "connected to Computer" and the wave manager device has no "SPD" just "Mac HD, Home, and net.. yet I can hear my speakers get connection feedback when i plug in the USB

Trying to implement the spd sx at my church but the sounds my worship team want is something i feel like i need to make on my own to adjust to their style and have ambient fx that fits.

Hey! Great Video, just today i bought a spd 30.i was determined to but me a SPD-SX but A GC rep told me that "Spd 30" was the way to go and totally made me turn towards the 30. Idk if it was a good call but i was wondering if i could import/add new sounds on the spd 30 like shown in this video or does this only apply for the SPDSX? Thanks man! Your reply will greatly help me out, i have a 35 day return if i didnt end up liking it. Thanks!

So I installed the Roland SPD-SX Wave manager software from Roland's website on my MacBook Pro with MAC OS Big Sur 11.7.2 and it says the developer needs to update the software for it to work. Do you know of another option available?

I'm running into problems in iTunes. Dragged and dropped my files to make a playlist, adjusted the custom 16 bit wav converter, then selected "create WAV version". However, once I inspect the info, it still shows that it's remaining in 24-bit. Any idea why that might be?
