I spent 3 Nights at some of Killarney Provincial Parks most beautiful Lakes, Grace Lake, Nellie Lake and Murray Lake. The fall colors were absolutely beautiful but the torrential downpours made this trip quite the adventure

Since 2009, when one of my closest friend died in a motorbike accident, i never really had any friend at all. I don't really go out and meet people. I have become an introvert. I am 32 as of today writing this. YouTube has a way of connecting us with people we never know exist. Seeing your video for the very first time in my life, i am so happy and sad at the same time. Happy because i am feeling as if you're sitting right next to me and i am experiencing the same thing you are experiencing . You expressions are so good that it has suddenly reminded of my that friend. Especially when you were counting the lightening and thunder, and when the second one was as close as you counted three, you smiled and i understood what you're trying to say that it is really close.
It also made me sad to see this video, as i am missing so much in life and i have no friend with whom i can experience this.
Thank you for making us feel happy and alive.

So easy for us to sit back in the comfort of our homes and watching him! But imagine being in his situation especially when it’s raining so heavily you can’t do anything, no fire nothing ! Huge respect to you Sir! Thank you for all the hard work and struggle you go through to make content worth watching for us boss!♥️much love

You don’t even know how much you helped me through a rough time, dealing with anxiety and troubles to sleep. Thanks for your calming videos and please keep it going!

Hiking to set up the camera….walking back to the starting point…..hiking for the shot….retrieving the camera…continuing the hike. Repeat steps 1-5 throughout the entire day. All for multiple 5-20 second clips for OUR enjoyment. Absolutely incredible

Doing all of those cinematic shots by yourself is absolutely amazing. The amount of work you are doing, like carrying the boat then coming back to take the camera, setting up different angles. I never expected this kind of quality from a free YouTube video. Thanks for such a good content 👌

Doing all of this is impressive on its own, but getting great shots and photgraphy and everything aswell is just astounding! Amazing work!

You make it look so easy… the planning, packing, buying new gear, collecting the gear over time, the portaging, the bugs, the bad weather, the struggle that we never see is the hard part! Thank you for taking us along! You forever inspire me to get out

The underwater shots made me gasp, so beautiful! All the shots in the rain were wonderfully atmospheric too. Thanks Xander!

This must be the third or fourth time I've watched this video. I keep coming back when life's stresses and anxieties start getting to me. Watching Xander on his adventures somehow helps settle my worries. Thanks for the video!

The production quality on this is phenomenal. I think most people don't realize the attention to detail, like for instance don't realize that he leaves his camera at a spot, shows himself walking away, then walks back to fetch the camera. It's especially insane when he did it for that hill shot when the fog rolled in, he walked a pretty far distance but trekked back to fetch the camera afterwards, or that one shot where he started rowing his raft but then probably had to row back and fetch the camera. It's amazing.

Man put his camera up the peak, to go back down and capture himself climbing back up. The dedication that goes into framing some of your shots is next level.

It's wonderful to see someone who loves nature. We learn from it by just looking and listening to understand it on a much deeper level. Thank you for you enjoyable post.
