Modern Greek Lessons: Predicate/Predicative vs Object

Settling the predicate/predicate issue with linking verbs. I hope this solves any confusion.

Further clarification(thanks to iVulgarThrust for mentioning):

The predicate/predicative is not necessarily an adjective. Sorry for not clearing that up. It can be an adjective, a noun or a whole expression. John is a gardener for example is a sentence where gardener is the predicate/predicative. In general, that's why I didn't want to get so deep into the grammar part of how this works, the "object" of linking verbs are predicates/predicatives and they can be adjectives, nouns or phrases.

If you feel like grammar might need to be explained, don't shy away from it :). I get where you're coming from, but it seems like Greek does have some grammar points that need to be gone over. Glad to see you doing videos again! Is the predicative basically an adjective, but only when you put 'is' _something_, 'seems' _something_ etc.?
