So... I love salmon and have been cooking it for years. However, I couldn't make it taste like anything and just accepted it. I watched your video and was blown away when you stated the most important step, spread one little line of olive oil and rub it in. I feel so silly, but I'm so thankful that I watched. I used a slightly different seasoning but cooked it the same way and wow!! Best salmon ever! The crispy blackened skin from putting the oil and seasoning on the pan first is so good.

I cooked this today in my air fryer and omg it was delicious served with lightly sautéed long green beans and white rice and lemon slice. Was a huge hit, will be apart of my dishes for sure. I had to improvise on one spice but still perfection

imma try that method of putting seasoning at the bottom of the pan with olive oil before placing the salmon down, looks goood!

Salmon came out great..I didn't use the light brown sugar
It was delicious with asparagus and red potatoes with sour cream shredded cheese(optional)and chives
