A short documentary about marriage. This is being worked on and expanded into a feature length film.

On minute marker 2:48, where can find the poster of the different type of marriages? It will be pretty cool to study it and see what it has to say.

If marriage was supposed to be able bonding two people in love, then it should be like that PERIOD. Marriage is stupid in general because it just “legalizes” relationships. There is absolutely no difference between marriage and dating so it makes no sense in a concept as a whole. Also, marriage used to be the buying and selling of women in purpose of stays or economical.

I don’t understand the idea of getting married and get the state involved taking control of relationships. Can just 2 people get together and have a life without the state in the middle? Can 2 people plan about having kids and money housing etc without the state dictating things ?

I was actually looking for actual history, not propaganda about recent problems.

I believe marriage should be between a man and a woman as two men or two women cannot have children. However I also believe people should have the right to do what they want as long as they do not inhibit the same rights of other people.

Anyone should be able to change their mind about it, for whatever reason. Maybe we should change the 'til death do us part' to something else. Marriage in this part of the world is an outdated concept. People change and grow and sometimes it means outgrowing a partner.

For example, marriage during the roman empire. Which is probably the oldest modern civilisation.

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death.

I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner is. Also, you would more likely be much closer to a person who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a partner or spouse.

People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse.

I just want to say that homosexuality falls under the wide umbrella of sexual immortality. Sexual immortality includes things like fornication, adultery, orgies, beastiality, and pedophilia to name a few. Furthermore, Evangelical Christians believe that Jesus IS fully God and fully man, making Him the only acceptable sacrifice for our sin. Therefore, the Bible and everything written in it, which IS the inspired and breathed-word of God, is indisputably Jesus' words. That being said, sexual immortality is written about in many places of the Bible, making it a true statement to say that Jesus did indeed have a lot to say about the many forms sexual immortality and its consequences.
