Local police say they had no line of communication to the secret service, until after the event. Secret service claims they don't have a recording of the comms. I'm having trouble believing that my Guild Wars 2 raid group has better organization and communication than the secret service. We record our comms and we have a third channel for inter-group communications. We're just a bunch of nerds having fun, and we don't have a budget in the trillions. A child could have done a better job. It's beyond "incompetence".

So glad Saagar finally acknowledged that it’s possible that it’s not only incompetence that led to the shooter getting multiple shots off. The clip from this morning was frustrating given the lack of that acknowledgment
