As a past RN employee for a top 5 Health Plan, probably one of the Plans you referenced, I agree with your evaluations.

Great video Dr. Bricker. Are there any publicly available resources on the plans that large health insurance companies offer their own employees?

Any data on what the premiums are (employee plus employer portion)?

Could it be that they have 4 Plans because the number of employees supports that many options?

The largest healthcare insurer in the country offers only high deductible ($3, 000) plans and the premiums for a single person are around $160 per month. The plans are essentially good only for catastrophic coverage and then, they will find a way to cut you off and deny as much as they can. Surely, you could have obtained more info by asking current employees of the companies. I've worked for 2 different large insurers and have friends who work for other insurers. Your information doesn't appear to be accurate.
